Why does christian music not reflect what christianity really is about?
I'm a Christian, raised as a christian, been listening to christian music. Recently I've been listening closely to a lot of christian music and i found that it doesn't reflect what Christianity is really about.i mean like why doesn't a lot of christian contemporary music not reflect Christ's character, how we should be like him, how he died for us etc.

i have been a christian all my life but my music taste is on the heavier side, i enjoy bands like slayer and cannibal corpse even though some of their lyrics as clearly anti religious. i cant help it i dont like the message i just love the heaviness of the rhythm. i know there are Christian metal bands but they dont do it for me, so is it a sin or is it ok cause i dont by into the message

Hello. I am looking for some Christian Music or Christian Contemporary Rock Songs that has come out in the past few years that relates to God's Creation Genesis 1 . The only two descent songs I have found was " I Am Creation " by Bernie Herms Which is an Overture and " in the Beginning" by Farukh Mamadaliyev Which is hip hop .
